Aww! We've been talking about getting a rescued Greyhound. My son loves them, but I worry my kids are still a little too hyper (ages 6 & 2). The love to go to events where people bring their greyhounds to publicize their plight. Boy could pet them all day. He laid down to take a nap with one once! He and the dog were quite happy together. We had a newborn then and weren't ready for another dog or we might have adopted that one (a foster dog at the time).
Bunny - as far as I know, greyhounds are the most gentle dogs. I know my girl intimidates a lot of people, but she'd be more likely to snuggle you up than bite you. And next to huskies, they are really good with kids (at least mine is).
AS - yes, she is still a lot of work. We've had her for 7 years and it was worth every minute!
Ambre - that is my favorite picture of her.
AR - thanks, but she isnt as cute as your little Ramsey!
M and our dog Jessie. She is a 14 year old blue brindle greyhound that we rescued.

Wow. What a beautiful and big greyhound. Very very nice of you to adopt him. Takes a lot of work and love but they make pets eventually.
