I like it over. I hate the standard teeny size holder that's in my bathroom because those huge double rolls don't fit.

Everything down. I have this weird thing with bathrooms. I'm not a germophobe, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna let those toilet germs fly out of the toilet when I flush and land on my toothbrush. And public restroooms freak me out.
3. When was the last time you kissed someone not your significant other? [I am talking about a kiss with some gusto not just a little hello or goodbye peck]
That would be over 16 years ago. I don't even remember who it was.

I'd have to say just have sex with someone else. Love is too complicated and involved. Sex is sex. I've already been in a situation where my SO had sex and fell in love with someone else, but didn't know about it until after the fact.

$100,000 (each) to my mother, father, MIL and a charity.
$200,000 (each) to a college fund for both kids.
$200,000 for me and M (which would include a mathematician for me because I read the number as one hundred thousand, then had to fix my post - DUH).

My Girl Jessie
Looking at these pictures has made me think about how long she has been with my family. 7 years! She was 7 when we brought her home.
I remember telling M that I would "just go look at the dog. I'm not promising that we can get one." LOL So much for that! One look and I was hooked. I went with my mother to a private kennel run by one of her friends. They were going to put her down because they couldn't sell her. Her racing name was Porker's Porkette. What a crappy name.
The owner of the kennel renamed her Spaz, because she would act all spastic whenever a person came around. I got to see her sire, too. What a beautiful dog he was! The most beautiful shade of burgundy. I don't know much about pedigree dogs and what their colors are called. Shortly after we brought Jessie home, someone asked if she was a blue brindle. I said "No, she's grey and tan." DUH.
Anyway, I went back a second time to see her. But I was not alone. M and the kiddles came along. Another one hooked at first site. Not only that, but we brought a leash just to see how she would react to it. She didn't mind. She saw the kids and strained at the leash to go play with them.
Let me tell you, it is a wonderful thing to witness the pure joy she got from racing around the yard. She had to stop because she had a few accidents where she couldnt stop and we had to rush her to the vet because she cut herself on something.
And now, it breaks my heart to see her struggle to get up from laying down. Or climb the stairs. Or walk around the yard. I don't have the money right now to take her to the vet, otherwise we would have already gone.
I love that hard-headed, sweet, lovable dog.

Friday Fill-In
Sorry, no HNT post this week. My job was absolutely NUTS yesterday.
Here is today's Friday Fill-In.
1. Yesterday I was running around trying to figure out where the broadcast storm was coming from.
2. Today I am glad to see that it stopped.
3. Tomorrow I will hope it doesn't rain for Shakespeare in the park.
4. Someday I'm going to get my driver's license.
5. I will never cheat on M.
6. I might make a cake this weekend.
7. And as for the weeked, tonight I'm looking forward to snuggling with M, tomorrow my plans include Shakespeare in the park and a picnic (if it doesn't rain) and Sunday, I want to stay home and finish my paper, but have to go to my aunt's house!

Happy Hump Day!!
What a great way to celebrate Wednesday!
Today's topic is Ice Cream!
Cone, waffle cone, or dish?
Dish - because most of my ice cream adventures happen at home, or at Cold Stone.
Cone - only if it is a sugar cone.
Waffle cone - because I don't really care for them.
What flavors (you get three scoops)?
Strawberry, Black Cherry and Mint Chocolate Chip.
At Cold Stone, I like Cake Batter, Sweet Cream, and Mint (just not in the same bowl)
What toppings?
Strawberries, chocolate, pinapple, whip cream and cherries for splits.
Whip cream, cherries, chocolate and honey roasted peanuts for bowls at home.
I usually get a Creation from Cold Stone. (Did I mention that I like Cold Stone?)
Who are you going to share it with?
With my sweetie M.
Bonus: My friend T uses "ice cream" to describe a delicious guy that you just can't have. Gives new meaning to a big bowl of ice cream.

Summer Time
I love summer. Actually I love all the seasons, but at the moment summer is my favorite. There is a farmer's market held every Tuesday and Thursday just down the street from my job. I bought some raspberries and kettle corn today.
I ate one single berry while walking back to work. I closed my eyes, and savored the sweet juicy bit of heaven. Using my tongue, I mash the berry against the roof of my mouth, marveling at the texture of the berry. Images of being out in the country picking berries with my sister-in-law flash through my mind. I can feel the sun on my skin, I can smell the warm earth and grass near the berry bushes. All that in one breath.
I cannot wait for the county fair. I love fair food. All that deep fried, sugary, unhealthy goodness! Fried dough, cotton candy, candy apples, barbeque chicken, corn on the cob - YUM!!!

I wouldn't say it was an impetuous choice, and it definitely wasn't to "prove" that I "loved" him. We had been sweethearts for a few years, and had (I thought) grown close during that time. I was ready and informed about my choice to have sex. He was more experienced than me, and now that I look back I think it was just another conquest for him. I don't regret it, because it is a part of who I am.

As I read other blogs, I notice that a some people are just as sexually frustrated as I am. A lot of them aren't. Are we all doing enough to reinforce those feelings that struck us dumb when we first met our SO?
